Cash on Campus is proud to launch our newest event crew program, giving students a chance to work at the heart of campus life while earning real‑world experience and cash. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about joining our crew, the roles we’re looking to fill, how the schedule works, and how to sign up.

Working on campus events is more than a paycheck. It offers a unique blend of skills that can boost your résumé and network.

Available Positions
We offer several roles to fit a variety of interests and skill sets. Below is a quick overview of each position and the primary responsibilities.
Stage Crew
- Set up lighting, sound, and stage platforms.
- Coordinate with performers and stage managers.

Hospitality & Guest Services
- Greet attendees, manage ticketing and seating.
- Provide assistance with registration and information desks.
- Monitor event flow and handle guest concerns.
Logistics & Setup
- Transport and store equipment.
- Prepare event spaces (tables, chairs, decorations).
- Work with vendors and caterers during setup and teardown.
Crowd Control & Security
- Monitor crowd movement and enforce event rules.
- Manage entrance and exit points.
- Report incidents to campus security.
Tech Support
- Operate audiovisual equipment during events.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real time.
- Maintain equipment inventory.
Shift Structure
- Shift length – 4 to 6 hours per event.
- Typical days – Friday to Sunday, plus occasional weekdays for large events.
- Payment – $15 per hour, with a bonus for overtime on high‑volume events.
- Advance notice – You’ll receive shift assignments 48 hours before each event.
We’re constantly looking for enthusiastic volunteers, so even if you only have a few hours each week, you can still make a difference.
How to Sign Up
- Create a Cash on Campus account – If you haven’t already, visit the Cash on Campus portal and complete your profile. Make sure your contact information and availability are up to date.
- Choose your role – Browse the available positions and select the ones that interest you. You can apply for multiple roles if you’re flexible.
